Inkjet labels and laser labels that are suitable for laser and inkjet printers are translucent paper labels that have a translucent appearance and blend with the background of any colour. Coloured material labels have the colours such as red, yellow, green, o range, pink and purple. Inkjet and laser labels also consist of fluorescent labels, colour washed labels and white block out labels. Fluorescent labels consist of colours orange, yellow, green and pink. Colour washed labels are made up of any colour and white block out labels have an opaque appearance hence helpful in hiding the content written on the label and are made of any colour.

Gold metallic labels and silver metallic labels are laser labels that are suitable for laser printers. These labels are gold and silver coloured respectively and are made of semi-gloss paper material. Matt white high resolution inkjet labels and gloss white photo quality inkjet labels are suitable for inkjet printers. The former is made of matt finish and high resolution white paper material and the latter of gloss finish with photo quality white paper material.
