The major problem your screen saver is saving you from is screen burn or image retention which will dramatically reduce the image quality of your monitor. Its well documented and established that screen burn occurs in old CRT monitors and frequently did when operating systems weren't as they are now and displayed the same screen for extended periods. Screen burn can happen to LCD TFT monitors and it isn't exclusively affecting computer displays it can affect plasma TVs, in fact any common display that uses pixels can suffer from prolonged image exposure.
Screen burn or burn in Leaves a permanent ghost like image on your display and is caused by prolonged display of stationary images such as a desktop background or tool bar on a personal computer or news channel tickers or TV logos on TV displays. As a result of constantly being left in the same state the Phosphor elements in the pixels (red green and blue) start losing their luminosity and retain a ghosting of the image they were exposed to. Screen burn gradually develops over time and you may not notice it until it's really intrusive and is clearly visible whenever you're using your screen. Screen burn is most easily detected when a white background is present on your display you will a ghost of the image typically in a faded grey colour. One more thing you may need to know is that screen burn is not covered in manufacturers guarantee.
What you can do to help, well if your display is on a computer obviously pick a screen saver that actually does the job a screen saver is suppose to do. Screen saver with a stationary background image that isn't interrupted by anything won't actually save your screen. If you have a TV then try not to subject it constantly to the same image, remember that logos on TV chancels can cause burn in. Prevention is always better than cure however if you have been unfortunate enough to have display suffering from screen burn there is still hope!
Screen burn can be reversed by repeatedly subjecting the ghosted pixels to rapidly changing images and screen washes it's possible to reduce or even remove the effects of screen burn. The amount of time it takes to remove the burn in depends on how bad the burn was to start with some will need persistent use of screen washes before the screen burn is fully removed. There are a few programs to use if you're looking to remove screen burn. pixel protector calibrates the phosphor intensity of the pixels and can be used on any display that can display information from a DVD. On the DVD you will receive multiple diagnostic and removal tools for screen burn issues.

Lake Barkley $66.91 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Lake Barkley, a 58,000acre reservoir in Livingston, Lyon, and Trigg counties in Kentucky and extending into Stewart and Houston counties in Tennessee, was impounded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1966 upon the completion of Barkley Dam. Both the lake and the dam are named for Vice President Alben Barkley, a Kentucky native. The dam impounds the Cumberland River near Grand Rivers, Kentucky, approximately 38 miles upstream from where the Cumberland empties into the Ohio River. One mile above the dam is a canal connecting Lake Barkley with Kentucky Lake, forming one of the greatest freshwater recreational complexes in the country. The lakes run parallel courses for more than 50 miles, with the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area located between them. Lake Barkley is 134 miles long with a shoreline measuring 1,004 miles. The lakes level is maintained at different levels throughout the year for flood control purposes.
