This is the shoe that really started the Nationwide phenomenon with Jordan sneakers as the Nike commercial with Spike Lee playing Mars Blackmon debuted along with these shoes. Remember the whole, "It's gotta be the shoes!" thing?

These shoes were extremely popular when they first came out. Even as a young kid, I can remember that everyone wanted a pair of these shoes and the ones who did get a pair, were especially lucky.

The Nike Air Jordan 3 featured the Jumpman logo for the first time and it also included the visible air bubble that Nike became known for throughout the late 1980's and early 1990's. This was a shoe that pretty much created the entire buzz where everyone waited to see what the new Air Jordan would look like.

If you can get your hands on a pair of these, then you definitely should as they are the sneakers that put Michael Jordan as the hands down number one celebrity endorser for shoes.

As always, there are many counterfeit models that are being sold and presented as the authentic Nike Air Jordan 3 sneakers, but be aware. If they are being sold at a low price like $ 60 or something, you have to really wonder.

You can find retro versions of the Nike Air Jordan 3 from time to time and when you do,  you want to make sure that you add them to your collection as they really did push the Michael Jordan line of shoe past all others.
