Dressing Like The Stars
We’ve once again wandered what the stars are dressing up. The recently held MTV Movie Awards 2009 showed us that some artists look still look glam during the recession. Believe it or not, some of them do shop online and actually wear budget-friendly clothing.
Tyrese Gibson, an R&B singer, songwriter and who recently appeared in the movie Transformers in 2007, looks flashy with a head to toe gear from, well, an online shop. What he wore, a plaid shirt in red and grey over a sparkling white V-cut tee. It is a woven allover plaid with snaps at the placket and a pocket with chest flaps. It has a regular fit and curved hemline.
No wonder, shopping online has been so much fun. Shops like this carry the latest in urban wear from different designers and labels. The current trend in urban shirts? Plaids, plaids and more plaid shirts! Wearing solid colors nowadays is just outright boring.
Urban shirts with a curved hemline and close by snap-ons look hip and gorgeous for men. Long sleeved plaid shirts are usually worn rolled up and over jeans. Most of the plaids come in soft cotton flannel. If you are not really into color, monochromatic plaids are also available.
Graphic tees are also this summer’s must haves. One cool outfit to check out are outrageously designed shirts such as the so called painter tee. It is a crew neck tee made of comfortable cotton, polyester. The super funky painter design looks like dabs of paint splashed on to an urban shirt worn by a Michael Angelo. It is said that the designs like this are actually works of art. Just like one winning art by a Chicago-based skate art community which ended up in one of the shirts. Take note that these items got out of stock fast so when you see and like one, go and grab it!
Urban wear for summer never goes out of style so be sure to grab one to add into your wardrobe. Shopping online proves to have some advantages than driving to shops. It gives you insight on what’s the latest trend in urban wear even before laying your hands on to them.
