Approachable, but no overly aggressive.
Most girls find the 'bad boy' syndrome somewhat exiting – up to a point. You don't want them to think you're always getting into fights and trouble, just that you're adventurous, daring and your own man. Girls don't push you around. You'll need to finesse your display of qualities when you meet a girl's parents. Remember, if you attract girls, but fail the parent test, your efforts have been wasted.

Boys who enjoy reading are usually able to attract girls easily. You don't have to go in full nerd mode, with a dozen tomes bristling from your backpack. One slim volume of poetry or literature, not assigned in class, ought to work wonders. Do be sure you can remark intelligently on the contents. Now the girls will view you as not only smart, but sensitive. Wow!
Signature garments are another good 'prop' for you. Distinctive hats, T-shirts and coats make it easy for the girls to pick you out in a crowd. Well chosen signature clothing items have other positive effects, such as increasing your cool quotient and edginess. Play this one low-key. Distinctive but not loud. You want to attract girls, not birds, so forget the hat with the purple plume.
Now, as for transportation. Unfortunately, having a car can make a big difference in your ability to attract girls. If you live in a city, taking the Metro is cool; otherwise, you'd better get a job so you can buy a car.
