Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Shoes Trend

Fashion shoe trends this season will differ considerably from summer collections with their fun and brightness. First of all, there will be more strict forms and colors. However it is necessary to mention that new autumn designer collections will be much more practical than the last year’s.

The main trend for Shoes Fall 2009-Winter 2010 are ankle boots and Over-The-Knee boots. Ankle boots are a must for women. Platforms and wedges extend legs visually. Cuban heels assure the essential stability in spite of staggering heights. The trend in soles leans toward rough style. There are various colors, styles and matirials for your choice.

The new season is surprising in that all the designers seem to have joined their efforts in promoting Over-The-Knee boots. It looks like this shoe type is about to become the hit of the season. Over-the-knee boots were all over at the Fall 2009 runways. The styles ranged from stocking-like to trouser-like in their semblance. Materials for over-the-knee boots can be leather, suede, drap, silk or lace. Popular colors are black, grey, brown, red. You can put on over the knee boots to office or to the party and be in style!

Also there are the trend heels – The basic variations of trendy heels for Fall 2009-Winter 2010 are 6-inch stilettos, stable square or trapezoid heel of different height, the higher the better.

Besides, lace boots will be among the most original shoes in Fall 2009-Winter 2010. High or low heel, or platform or widget straples shoes were in many of footwear collections. They look like interlacing materials stripes.
