My Energy Soared - The Secrets I Use to Make It Occur
During my mid teens I found myself enjoying life on a tropical paradise island in Papua New Guinea. Soon after arrival my weight started to balloon, this starting me on what seemed to be a ‘weight gain – diet – weight loss round-a-bout.’
Before I discuss how I eventually dealt with this round-a-bout let me digress to mention my health issues.’ The first issue to occur was severe abdominal pains that felt like a knife being turned inside of me, which was found to be caused by food intolerance. Then over the years other health issues developed into a huge struggle with an extreme lack of energy and numerous symptoms that seemed to imitate Multiple Sclerosis. During this time I visited umpteen Doctors and Specialists etc. who put me through myriads of tests with only one that gave a conclusive result. From this test my Neurologist was able to state I have Peripheral Nervous Neuropathy (that is nerve damage) cause unknown – no known cure. He also stated this Peripheral Nervous Neuropathy had no connection with my food intolerances. So I was no further advanced in attaining a level of health that allowed me to function adequately on a daily basis.
I continued my search for a better way of life trying every type of diet and yet I was still on the ‘weight gain – diet – weight loss round-a-bout’ with numerous serious food intolerances. As time went on it seemed I faired best on the low carbohydrate type diet, although modified to my needs. Unfortunately for my wife, during this period she became very ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A friend of my wife also had this very debilitating disease and advised my wife that her Doctor had encouraged her to follow the raw energy food and way of eating that Leslie Kenton advocated in her book ‘The Raw Energy Bible’ and was having great success with it. My wife of course started this diet straight away with tremendous results, but me being ‘the big Aussie bloke’ that I am, carried on regardless with my ‘steak and eggs’ regime, still suffering horribly with extremely low energy etc.
Numerous years later being totally frustrated with my lot in life and being barely more than ‘a couch potato.’ I decided in desperation to try the ‘fresh juice and raw food way of life’ with incredible results. I gained a huge increase in energy and a steady weight loss while enjoying delicious fruit juices and raw food. Interestingly my numerous symptoms that seem to imitate Multiple Sclerosis are markedly reduced while I continue on the ‘fresh juice and raw food way of life’ and my weight is also stable.
This life style detoxes the body, releasing energy that has been suppressed beneath the physical burden of waste that we all carry. It also gradually stabilizes blood sugar levels so that energy for physical activity is readily available and long-lasting.
I have gained many rewards from this new lifestyle. My energy has soared, my skin has became clearer and less lined, and my eyes are brighter, my weight is stable, and the chronic depression and anxiety have faded into the past. Incorporating the power of Fresh Juice Recipes day after day into my life has strengthened my immunity, brought me freedom to do things and to be more creative and feel in control of my life once more. As each day, week and month passed I rose to new levels of awareness, experiencing the freedom to act according to my own perceptions and follow new goals that would never have been possible before.
The ‘raw food style of eating’ really isn’t just chomping on a carrot or whatever as a rabbit would but is the eating of deliciously prepared meals that are a ‘delight to the eyes and palate.’ There are many books that can be purchased that give a very wide variety of recipes including many delicious sweets recipes.
I encourage you to give it a try – you have nothing to lose only a long list of ailments that can be a thing of the past so go ahead and enjoy the delicious fresh juices and raw food.
